 This issue is caused by a ghci bug:

 http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/3009

 Currently the POSIX backend only sets `stdin` to `NoBuffering` if it's not
 already set.  We can work around this by always setting `NoBuffering`.
