Judging from the complexity of the installation instructions for both Gtk2hs
and Gtk, and the fact that the Gtk project itself has never managed to

Could you explain what you mean by complexity of installation? I read the instructions at http://projects.haskell.org/gtk2hs/download/#Windows and, at least for Windows, they appear to be normal installation instructions. To make a binary version, wouldn't one only need to pre-compile the Gtk2hs modules with HP and distribute the binaries along with the gtk+ bundle?
I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm trying to get the facts. (If this has been discussed somewhere else, please provide me a link to read.) Thanks.
